On March05, 2025, on the basis of the military department of the NAO”Semey Medical University”,under the leadership of the head of the department, Colonel of the medical service Orynbasarov Shyngys Orazmukhametovich,with the participation of the teaching staff: Colonel Mamykanov R.T., lieutenant colonels of the medical service Smailov N.S., Smagulov A.T. and Sherstobitov I.N. An “Open Day”was organized, followed by professionalorientationtowardsadmission to theNAO”SemeyMedicalUniversity”andstudiesat the militarydepartment,for2nd-yearstudents of the State Higher Medical College named after Duisenbi Kalmatayev in Semey (Akylbek Turlykhanovich Kusmanov, a teacher of special disciplines, a lieutenant colonel of the medical service, a veteran of the Armed Forces Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, former head of the Semey Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan).

The students were shown classrooms in the disciplines of general military training, military toxicology, radiobiology and medical protection, organization and tactics of the medical service, military hygiene and epidemiology, as well as a brief overview of military medical equipment. There is a mini library where students can additionally study in their free time, take teaching materials prepared by the teaching staff in military medical specialties.

In a specially equipped armory, the cadets got acquainted with various types of sports weapons.

Wealsovisited the M.MametovaUniversityMuseum.

The students received answers to all their questions regarding military training.
