International Women’s Day is a holiday celebrated annually on March 8 in a number of states and countries around the world. Women’s Solidarity Day in the Struggle for Women’s Rights and Emancipation. According to the established tradition, the faculty of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery together with active students visited the “Center for Active Longevity of the Abai region” to congratulate the elderly on this significant day, a wonderful Spring holiday. The head of the department, associate Professor Suleimenova D.M. delivered a congratulatory speech to all participants of the event, thanked the staff of the Longevity Center, all participants for their active participation, the desire to meet with the staff of the department often and not only on holidays. After the congratulatory part, a small concert was organized, in which students performed musical and dance numbers, creating a festive mood. The teaching staff of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery presented gifts to all the women present, paying attention to everyone present. As always, I enjoyed the event, it was fun and festive. Happy and very pleased with the event, the owners of the longevity center expressed their gratitude, parting words, sang songs, and invited the department and students to visit our center again. In turn, the students and their teachers promised to continue this honorable mission, which is already becoming a tradition.

The events held by the Department of Dental Disciplines and the NAO “Semey Medical University” once again showed the youth how important attention, kindness and care for the elderly are.
