Innovations and Advancements in Internal Medicine: A Focus on Integral Nephrology

On March 5, 2025, the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at Semey Medical University NCJSC hosted the Regional Nephrology Conference in collaboration with the National Kidney Center and Astana Medical University. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, bringing together leading specialists in nephrology and related fields.

The conference opened with a welcome speach from Professor A.Sh. Kaskabayeva, Head of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. D.M. Medeuov, Chief Freelance Nephrologist of the Abai Region, presented an in-depth analysis of the future of nephrology services in the region.

The event was dedicated to World Kidney Day, aiming to enhance awareness and interdisciplinary collaboration in the management of kidney diseases. Participants included nephrologists, general practice interns, and residents from various specialties.

Residents specializing in Adult and Pediatric Nephrology actively engaged in the discussions, expressing keen interest and appreciation for the valuable insights shared.

The event concluded with the presentation of certificates and letters of appreciation to the speakers.
