Thanksgiving Day in Kazakhstan

Thanksgiving Day in Kazakhstan

On March 3, 2025, students of the 439th curatorial group “General Medicine” of the assistant of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children’s Diseases Tugelbayeva A.M. celebrated Gratitude Day.

Gratitude Day is a bright holiday that embodies mutual appreciation, solidarity and respect for each other. This is stated in the message of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of the holiday celebrated in the country on March 1.

The target audience for the state is youth. The holiday was chosen as a form of educating children and youth within the framework of traditions: tolerance, interethnic harmony, gratitude to the people and the state that created this model of social relations. And yet, the main component of Gratitude Day in Kazakhstan remains the fact that you can thank everyone: doctors – for saving lives and healing, parents – for the gift of life, teachers – for science, colleagues – for understanding and a common cause.
