On March7, 2025, students of the 4215th academic group studying at the military department of the NAO”Semey Medical University” visited the museums of the Regional Command “Vostok”andmilitary equipment in the open air in Semey.

The tour was conducted by the head of the cycle, lieutenant colonel of the reserve medical service Smailov Nurbek Sadenuly, who spoke about the importance of the sefacilities.

The garrison House of Officers is a center of military history,where unique exhibits are collected, reflecting the ways of formation of the Regional Command, the participation of military personnel in peacekeeping operations. The museum presents historical documents, rare photographs, military uniforms and awards, allowing you to touch the pages of the past and present of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The open-air Museum is one of the iconic attractions of Semey, vividly demonstrating the country’s military past. Samples of armored vehicles, artillery installations and other types of weapons that were used in different historical periods are presented here. Each exhibit contains a story that recalls the heroism and courage of those who served and defended their Homeland.

At the end of the tour, the students took photographs together to preserve their impressions of this significant event. The participants expressed gratitude to the head of the cycle, Lieutenant Colonel of the reserve medical service Smailov Nurbek Sadenuly for the opportunity to immerse himself in history, expand his knowledge of the military heritage and imbue himself with the spirit of patriotism.
