In pursuance of the Sustainable Development Goals developed in 2015 by the UN General Assembly and the policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in this area, the military department of the NAO “Semey Medical University” is granted equal rights with boys and girls in matters of: admission, training, provision of military equipment for the study, in matters of wearing military uniforms and subsequent conscription into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan of other troops and military formations at their request. For girls, the total number of students at the department is 65%.
