Considering the importance of strengthening ties between universities and schools, emphasized by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the Education Department of the Abay region in cooperation with the KSU “Regional Innovation and Methodological Center” organized lectures for school teachers on the subjects of biology and chemistry at school No. 16 in Semey.

As part of the “Teacher Mentor” project in the direction of “Learning from Science”, Associate Professor of the Department of Biochemistry and Chemical Disciplines named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Tapbergenov S.O. Dinzhumanova R.T. gave a lecture on the topic of “Enzymes” to teachers of schools in the Abay region. The lecturer provided valuable information on the definition of enzymes, their classification, mechanism of action, factors affecting enzyme activity, types of inhibition, etc. The teachers made proposals on the regular organization of lecture courses by teachers Universities for school teachers to improve their qualifications.
