On March 17, 2025, as part of the “Silver University” project and in accordance with the Nauryznama Decade of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in honor of the Day of Culture and National Traditions, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after A.A. Kozbagarov of the NСJSС“Semey Medical University” organized an event at the Medical and Social Institution for the Elderly and Disabled in Semey.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Head of the Department, Gulyash Altyngazinovna Tanysheva. Faculty members, along with local and international students of the “General Medicine” faculty, prepared and demonstrated national traditions such as qudalyk, betashar, shashu, and bata beru. National songs and dances, including performances by students from India and Pakistan, lifted the spirits of everyone present.

Students and assistants of the department congratulated the elderly residents, preparing a concert program featuring dances and folk songs in national costumes. The event was filled with a festive atmosphere.
