From March 10 to 12, the Medical University of Semey hosted Tooth Academy & DentOlymp, a large-scale educational project bringing together students, professors, and dentistry experts.

Three Days of Intensive Workshops

🔹 Day 1 – Basics of Dentistry
📌 Lecture: Karina Nurlanovna covered key aspects of caries treatment and restoration.
🔹 Practice: Sevile Mansurovna led a session on cavity preparation and filling techniques.

🔹 Day 2 – Endodontics and Soft Tissues
📌 Lectures: Bekarys Maratovich and Askar Bakytbekuly discussed modern root canal treatments and soft tissue management.
🔹 Practice: Students worked with endodontic instruments and practiced root canal preparation techniques.

🔹 Day 3 – Surgery and Implantology
📌 Lectures: Adlet Muratovich and Anar Sadykova explored surgical techniques and implantology.
🔹 Practice: Aidos Zhumabekov taught surgical suturing techniques, allowing students to gain hands-on experience.

Final Stage – Dentistry Olympiad

📅 On March 14, the DentOlymp competition tested 2nd- and 3rd-year students on theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Awarding the Participants

All participants received souvenir gifts, while the Olympiad winners were honored with special awards.

Project Organizers
