On March 14, 2025, the Department of Nursing hosted a conversation on the topic “Prevention of ludomania” in the guidance groups: 101 “Nursing”, 102 “Nursing”, 110 101 “Nursing”, 111 “Nursing”, 112 “Nursing”, 113 “Nursing”, 114 “Nursing the case.”

Ludomania is a disorder consisting in private repeated episodes of gambling, dominating the life of the subject and having a destructive effect on all spheres of life and personality of a person, his physical, mental, emotional and social health, leading to a decrease in social, professional, and material values.

Purpose: to prevent possible deviations in the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of students.

Tasks:

1) to increase the level of knowledge about the problem of gambling addiction;

2) introduce the concept of  «ludomania»;

3) to educate a mentally healthy, personally developed person.
