On March 14, a roundtable discussion was held at the Habilitation and Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities of the Abay Region, under the leadership of Candidate of Medical Sciences A.R. Alimbaeva and with the assistance of the department’s assistant, E.E. Dairbekova. First- and second-year residents of FMiR presented a presentation dedicated to the traditional holiday “Көрісу күні” (i.e. “Day of Meeting”).

We spoke about the history and customs of this holiday, which symbolizes the arrival of spring and the unification of generations. The presentation highlighted aspects such as the exchange of greetings between the younger and the older, the tradition of giving gifts, and even the secrets of preparing the traditional dish – Nauryz kozhe.

The event took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere, where everyone was able to share their impressions and ideas. We are think that such meetings help to preserve and pass on cultural traditions, as well as contribute to the cohesion of the student community.
