Preventive examinations of schoolchildren are among the top 10 priority health services. These activities are in line with the third Millennium Sustainable Development Goal, Good Health and Well-being. Regular medical examinations help to timely identify and prevent diseases in children, promoting health and improving the quality of life of the younger generation.
Professional examination is a medical and psychological diagnosis that is carried out in order to identify the state of health and professional suitability of schoolchildren. It includes both general medical examinations and specialized consultations of doctors, which helps to identify diseases, deviations or developmental features of the child.
Employees of the Department of General Medical Practice of NCJSC “SMU” of the city of Semey regularly provide practical assistance to medical specialists of TsPMSP (center for medical and social care) No. 12.
The participation of interns of the 7th year of the GP in medical examinations (professional examinations) of schoolchildren is an important part of preventive measures aimed at preserving the health of students and determining their professional preferences. In the next medical examination of schoolchildren of secondary school No. 15, March 11, 2025, interns of the 713 GP group actively worked.
The event aimed to identify possible health problems and prevent diseases early. Interns assisted in consultations with doctors of various specializations and in the conduct of diagnostic tests. The school administration and medical staff of the school made every effort to ensure that the examination was quick and comfortable for all participants. As a result of the examination, several minor deviations were identified that require further attention, but in general, the health status of schoolchildren is assessed as good.
Professional examinations for schoolchildren are not only a measure of medical control, but also an important tool for ensuring the health and well-being of children. They allow not only to identify possible diseases, but also to help children at an early age begin to think about the future choice of profession, based on their interests and state of health.
The organization and conduct of a medical examination of schoolchildren was carried out under the guidance of the head of the department, Professor A.A. Dyusupova, teachers A.M. Dosbaeva, T.I. Terekhova, A.M. Khismetova, R.I. Faizova.
