Nauryz – March 18 in Kazakhstan – National Dress Day

Nauryz is a celebration of spring, the renewal of nature, the beginning of a new year, and a new life. The tradition of celebrating Nauryz in Kazakh culture has never been limited to one day. Since 2024, Nauryznama has been celebrated in Kazakhstan on March 14 at the initiative of the President. Each of the ten days is dedicated to a specific theme and values reflecting the richness and diversity of Kazakhstan’s culture and society.

On the eve of the celebration of Nauryz on March 18, National Dress Day, the head of the department, I.M. Efendiyev, and the staff of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases, held a solemn event dedicated to Nauryz. The event was organized by the assistant of the department, A.K. Kumarbekova, who is responsible for educational work, and students of groups 4219 OM, 4202 OM, interns 604 gr GP actively participated. The festive program included songs, dances, and Nauryz dasturi were also presented: “Uykyashar” men “Seltetkizer”, “Bet ashar”.
