A team of 4th-year students of the Faculty of Dentistry of the NAO MUS “Dentarius” under the leadership of Associate Professor of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery Khaidarova N.B., consisting of 5 students : Almesh Tomiris, Kontarova Asel, Smailova Kamila, Sharipkhanova Gulim, Yaresko Semen, participated in the International Student Olympiad “Battle of Dentists”, which was held on March 14, 2025 at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) named after I.K. Akhunbaev in Bishkek.
The participants of the Olympiad were students from near and far abroad, as well as medical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Olympiad consisted of the following stages:
1. Greeting
2. Testing
3. Practical skills
4. Creative presentation
5. Quiz
Students of the Faculty of Dentistry of NAO “MUS” took the 2nd prize place among the participants of the International Student Olympiad “Battle of Dentists”, and were also awarded a Letter of Gratitude to NAO “MUS” for organizing and holding the international Olympiad. Students were able to demonstrate their creativity, the opportunity to show their accumulated knowledge, and to demonstrate their will and character in mastering new heights in the field of dentistry. Such events help to attract attention to research, strengthen ties between universities and countries, improve the level of students’ knowledge and exchange experiences!
