The Department of General Medical Practice in Semey has continued the tradition of celebrating Nauryznama. On March 20, 2025, a festive event was held in honor of the spring equinox, Nauryz, which symbolizes the beginning of the new year according to the astronomical solar calendar and is included in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Under the leadership of the head of the department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.A. Dyusupova, a celebratory team-building event was organized for the faculty members and students of the 5th and 6th years specializing in General Medicine who are currently studying at the department. A lavish dastarkhan with traditional treats, national attire, songs, and performances on the dombra helped create an unforgettable festive atmosphere and lasting memories of the time spent together.

The event was organized by the department staff: M.S. Kazymov, R.R. Kurumbaev, Zh.O. Temirtasova, S.M. Adilgozhina, O.A. Yurkovskaya, N.A. Balashkevich, and F.K. Muratova.

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Acting Professor M.S. Kazymov congratulated all attendees on the spring holiday of Nauryz, expressing wishes for peace, kindness, prosperity, and success in all endeavors.
