A discussion was intern doctors on the topic: “Tuberculosis is a social disease: how to avoid it?» Tuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease, one of the most severe in humans, causing high mortality, even at a young age. This disease affects various organs, but most often – the lungs, in which characteristic inflammatory phenomena occur. Prevention of tuberculosis includes:
1. vaccination against tuberculosis BCG vaccination (at birth, 7 years);
2. Tuberculin diagnostics in children annually, from 15 years fluorography once a year;
3. Annual fluorography;
4. rational, nutritious nutrition;physical activity;
5. quitting smoking, drugs, limiting alcohol intake;
6. observing the work and rest regime;
7. hardening, physical education and sports;
8. keeping the home and workplace clean.
