On March 19, 2025, teachers of the Department of Public Health Tokanova Sh.E., Tokesheva Sh.M., Beisengazina M.B., Amantayeva G.K., Isaeva A.K. and building administrator Nadyrkhanova Zh.A. together with the curatorial groups of the specialties “Public Health” (401, 301) and “Dentistry” (311) held an event dedicated to Nauryz.

A festive dastarkhan with Kazakh national dishes: beshbarmak, bauyrsaki, kumys, zhent, kurt, irimshik, etc., as well as the main ritual treat – nauryz–kozhe was served in the conference hall of the new academic building of the National Academy of Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Each group presented three dishes. 301 groups of the specialty “Public Health” demonstrated the national custom of “Betashar”. Competitions were held for the ability to tie a headscarf, knowledge of customs, and knowledge of the structure of a yurt. The festive atmosphere of the event was supported by the beautiful national costumes of those present, as well as Kazakh folk songs and dombra playing. According to Kazakh traditions, blessings (bata) were heard at the event before and after dastarkhan. Everyone present congratulated each other on the holiday with good wishes.

Nauryz holiday is a celebration of the unity of all people on Earth and nature, a celebration of harmony, light and goodness was held successfully.
