“Health is the Basis of Life”

As part of the April cycle of events, the university library staff organized an electronic bookshelf with English textbooks on the theme “Download and Read Immediately” among groups No. 1234 and 1235 of first-year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics. On April 12, in connection with Science Day, a bibliographic review was held on the topic “Toward Bright Science with Books” and on April 7, World Health Day, an information hour was held on the topic “Health is the Basis of Life”.

It was organized to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, emphasize the importance of human health and educate them to avoid harmful habits, review the almanac “Semitic Medical University 70 Years”, invite students to follow the example of the university’s teaching staff, and increase the activity of students in reading e-books in English.

During the event, a video about the history of the university’s opening, its prominent graduates and workers was shown. A review of English-language textbooks that can be read using QR codes was conducted. Students were provided with information about the history of the World Health Organization, types of health, and important dates in the field of medicine. The participating youth were divided into four groups and given various situational tasks related to health and medicine.
