On April 4, 2025, the Department of General Education Disciplines hosted the Intra-university subject Olympiad in the discipline “Information and Communication Technologies” dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The main objective of the Olympiad was to increase students’ interest in educational and cognitive activities, as well as to develop ICT competencies in future specialists in the field of medicine, which is important in the process of digital transformation of healthcare.

The opening of the Olympiad began with a welcoming speech by PhD doctor, dean of the school of public health, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing Kayrkhanova Ynkar Okimkhanovna

The Olympiad was held in two rounds. In the 1st round, participants were tested on “Information and Communication Technologies”. In the second round, the participants were offered practical tasks, the content of which was aimed at developing the skills that are in demand in their future professional medical activities. The Olympiad was attended by 33 first-year students of the educational programs “Medicine”, “Dentistry”, “Pediatrics”, “Pharmacy”.

Based on the sum of the two rounds, the winners were determined:

1st place – Himanshi (1507 group);

2nd place – Gulam Ramil (1238 group) Anushka Panchal (1508 group);

3rd place – Ashirov Aitemir (1307 group), Aditya Shivnikar (1508 group), Tleuchanov Alnur (1302 group).
