On April 05, 2025, according to the Saturday event plan, in the Houses of students of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University”, teachers of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K.Raissov held a round table on the topic “Vaping, its impact on health” in hostel No. 4 at 128 Toraigyrova St. Students living in this hostel were invited to the event.

The issues of the harm of vaping and other electronic cigarettes, the formation of a value attitude towards their health among young people were considered. The teachers of the department told the students about electronic cigarettes, their types, the mechanism of action of electronic cigarettes, the harm and consequences on the body. The students enjoyed the lecture very much, they asked interesting questions to which they received answers.
