The Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raissov actively participated in the citywide cleanup day on April 12, 2025. The event was attended by A.S. Orazalina, A.M. Yesentayeva, P.S. Rakhimgaliyeva, B.A. Orynbasarova, A.S. Zhumageldina, and D.Zh. Galymbekuly. The cleanup Day was carried out at a high level.

During the clean-up Day, the territory of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University” along Abai Street, adjacent streets, public places and green areas were cleared of garbage and their landscaping. The teachers of the department whitewashed trees, curbs, and cleaned flower beds. This event demonstrated team cohesion and caring attitude towards the environment.

Such events foster a strong work ethic among the youth and nurture a respectful attitude toward nature. In addition, they strengthen team spirit and improve relationships among people. Cleanliness is a reflection of an individual’s cultural values. Therefore, we believe that such good initiatives will continue in the future.
