On November 13, 2024, Gulnaz Zhanabekovna Sarkuchikova, a teacher of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after A.A. Kozbagarov, held a Speaking club for foreign students of 3-4 courses on the topic “Gynecological diseases”. The purpose of the Speaking club was to know medical terms in Russian in the field of gynecology. The main goals of the Speaking club: Improving oral speech: The practice of speaking helps participants to speak Russian more confidently and fluently. The development of auditory perception: The ability to understand Russian by ear is also improved through active communication practice. Vocabulary expansion: In the process of communication, participants can learn new words and expressions used by other members of the club. Cultural exchange: Speaking clubs often bring together people from different cultures, which facilitates the exchange of knowledge about each other‘s culture and traditions. Confidence building: Regular oral practice at the speaking club helps participants overcome barriers and become more confident in communicating in Russian. In the process of communication, the participants learned new words and expressions, which contributed to the expansion and deepening of their vocabulary.
