Kozhanova Saule Keneskhanovna, was born on April 10, 1968, in the city of Semipalatinsk. After graduating from high school in 1985, she studied with a gold medal at the medical faculty of the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute. During her studies, she took an active part in the social life of the Institute, was the head of the group, conducted research work, and was awarded the “Excellent Student” badge three times.
After graduating with honors from the SSMI in 1991, she studied in a targeted postgraduate course at the Department of Human Anatomy of the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy under the guidance of an academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, Professor M.R. Sapina. Since 1995, after successfully defending my PhD thesis, I am currently an associate professor of the Department of Anatomy. I am constantly working to improve my professional level, I have repeatedly taken courses of the Faculty of Advanced Training at Asfendyarov ASMU, KSMU. In 2003, she graduated with honors from Kainar University with a degree in Foreign Languages and Translation. In 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, she underwent advanced pedagogical training on the topic “Innovative technologies in medical education” under the guidance of professors from abroad. In November 2012, she completed the course “Human Anatomy – teaching in Medical School” at the Department of Anatomy of the Faculty of Medicine of Tel Aviv University. In 2018, she organized a seminar visiting professor Kerima Mutik (Charite University, Berlin). In 2020, she organized an online course of lectures by prof. A.V. Pavlov (GMU G.Ryazan).
I am actively working on the organization of educational and methodological work; I am conscientious about the assigned duties. I give lectures and conduct practical classes in Kazakh, Russian and English at a high scientific and theoretical level. I am constantly working on improving the educational process.
From July 2005 to the present, the department is headed by Ph.D., Associate Professor S.K. Kozhanova.
