The department of additional and non-formal education organizes additional and non-formal education of health professionals in order to meet the educational needs of health personnel in order to maintain, expand, deepen and improve professional knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as mastering new (additional) competencies.
Additional education programs, depending on the content and direction (purpose), are divided into:
- advanced training programs aimed at maintaining, expanding, deepening and improving previously acquired professional knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as mastering new (additional) competencies within the main specialty.
- a certification course aimed at expanding, deepening and forming additional professional knowledge, skills and abilities in a narrow specialization within the main specialty.
Non-formal education of healthcare professionals is carried out in the form of: seminars, trainings, master classes, webinars.
Training is carried out on the basis of applications from health departments, medical organizations and individuals, contractual cycles, as well as under the state order under the 005 program.
The advanced training of medical workers is carried out in accordance with the orders: order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 218 dated November 30, 2020; Order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 303 dated December 21, 2020; order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 305 dated December 21, 2020.
