On November 25, the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace (SCORP) and the Standing Committee on Sexual and Reproductive Health including HIV/AIDS (SCORA) held an event on the theme “International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women”. The purpose of this event was to attract the attention to the problem of physical, psychological and sexual violence of women. Ansar Nuraldinov, a 4-year student of the 4105th group and Leyla Nurasheva, a 1st-year student of the 105th group, present a presentation about this issue to inform our students. Statistics were provided on women exposed to various forms of violence around the world. In addition, the trainer Yakushev Maksat Erlanovich was invited, to teach women how to protect yourself in cases of attack. He showed the basic techniques of self-defense. During the event, trainings were held with the participation of VDCB Erlangyzy Anel. In the end, everyone gave feedback, comments and tips on improving the quality of work by writing on a piece of paper their thoughts about the event and sticking it on a poster.
