On March 19-20, 2021, on the basis of the Medical Institute of Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev, the All-Russian Medical Youth Scientific and Educational Forum with international participation “MEDmarch” was held, which was attended by students of the SSC Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.

Within the framework of the forum, the All-Russian Youth Medical Conference with international participation “Fundamental and Clinical Medicine: Innovations, successes, achievements” was held. The conference was held on the ZOOM platform.

The participations which presented their projects are: student of the 5101 group of the School of Medicine Almas Yerlan with a report “Combination of tuberculosis with DM in patients of Semey city”; student of the 5101 group of the School of Medicine Dauren Abdygazizov with a report “Clinical and social structure of tuberculosis pleurisy”, student of the 3132 group School of Medicine Mukhtar Mussabekov with a report “Treatment of tuberculosis with MDR in a hospital”.

Following the results of the conference, all 3 reports were awarded in the section “Infectious diseases” – A.E. Yerlan (1st place), M.B. Mussabekov (2nd place), D.M. Abdygazizov (3rd place) (Supervisor: Assistant of the department Olga Gorkovenko).
