On December 9-10, 2021 on the basis of the South Kazakhstan medical Academy was held the VIII international scientific conference of students and young scientists “prospects for the development of biology, medicine and pharmacy” organized by the Foundation of Nursultan Nazarbayev took part students and young scientists from Semey Medical University.

1. Amir Kappassov with a report: “Cooperation with EORTC: Linguistic Validation of the EORTC QLQ-CR29 module for assessing the quality of life in colorectal cancer.” Scientific supervisors: K. T. Zhabagin, A. S. Zhabagina, Department of Clinical and Radiation Oncology.
2. Yerlan Almas Yerlanuly with a report: “Epidemiology of tuberculosis in women of fertile age”. Scientific supervisor: Chunkaeva D.D., Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery named after B.S.Bulanov.
3. Bakenov Yerkebulan Askaruly with a report: “Results of tuberculosis treatment in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2019”. Scientific supervisor: Gorkovenko O.A. Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery named after B.S.Bulanov.
4. Mukhtar Bauyrzhanuly Mussabekov, with a report: “Features of the course of intestinal infection in children of the first year of life.” Scientific supervisors: Sutormina A.V., Efendiev I.M., Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

During the conference, Amir Kappassov and Yerlan Almas were awarded diplomas for the best report.
