In order to ensure active longevity at the silver age, improve the quality of life and social activity, strengthen physical and spiritual health, teaching staff of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of the NAO “MUS” on 11/24/2021, participated in the conference within the framework of the “Silver University” program. With lectures on the topic : “Candidiasis of the oral cavity” was made by the head of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry Khaidarova Nurzhanat Bidakhmetovna, then continued with a lecture on the topic: “Periodontal diseases” assistant of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry Bekenova Perizat Akhatovna. The selection of the lecture material is relevant among elderly citizens, taking into account age-related changes in the oral cavity. Knowledge of the clinical symptoms of this disease will help to identify the problem in a timely manner and receive appropriate treatment. On the topic of the lecture, the conference participants asked interesting questions. Comprehensive answers were given to all the questions of the teaching staff of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry.
