International Healthy Heart Day

International Healthy Heart Day was established in 1999 and was held every last Sunday in September with the support of WHO and the International Heart Federation. Since 2011, this holiday has been celebrated on September 29th. The main goal of this day is to inform the world about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, to carry out preventive measures, to form the right attitude towards coronary artery disease and cerebral strokes in people of different groups. International Heart Health Day is held under the motto “Heart is for Life”. On September 29, at the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies, interns of groups 718, 719 GP, for students of group 102 of the Faculty of Pharmacy, organized and conducted information on the topic of acute coronary syndrome, dedicated to the International Day of the Healthy Heart. The event provided information on the relevance of diseases of the cardiovascular system in the world and the country, including acute coronary syndrome. They covered: causes, risk groups, symptoms of the disease, first aid and preventive measures. During the event, the students were shown the educational methodology “Standardized patient” with a diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome, and at the end they were given leaflets on the prevention of ACS, prepared by the interns.[/vc_column_text]
