As part of the sanitary and educational work, on September 28, 2022, students of the group 401 of the specialty “Public Health” N. Rakhymgali, G. Adilkhan, M. Sarsengazina, D. Kadyrbekov, M. Kuandyk and D. Tokenov, together with the curator M. B. Beisengazina, held an event for 9th grade students of secondary school No. 8, dedicated to gender education. The students were presented with a thematic presentation and videos, as well as memos “Puberty”. The students talked about the signs of puberty, the menstrual cycle, the importance of observing specific hygiene for the health of girls, sexually transmitted infections, and the prevention of teenage pregnancy. The students listened with interest to the students and asked questions in the feedback format.
