Since 1996, at the initiative of the World Health Organization, World Arthritis Day has been celebrated annually on October 12th. The main objective and purpose of this event is to reduce and prevent morbidity by providing detailed information about diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Bone and joint diseases are considered a group of diseases that are widespread throughout the world, since according to the Health Organization, 1 out of 10 people suffer from this disease, and its complications can reduce a person’s quality of life and lead to disability.
Arthritis is an inflammatory disease of the joint, as a result of which the patient’s musculoskeletal system is damaged and changes. Many internal and external factors influence the development of arthritis. Among them, the most common are: injuries, colds, endocrine and rheumatic diseases, as well as heredity, etc.
As they say, “Before you get sick, look for a way to prevent”, if you can prevent the disease, then why not take advantage of it?
On the occasion of the World Arthritis Day, health and educational events are held with the population, and our main task is to preserve human health, in general, by preventing and treating arthritis in the population!
