On October 19, 2022, on the basis of the Toktamys Children’s Rehabilitation Center, under the leadership of the head of the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D. M. Tusupova – Alimbayeva A. R., a master class on osteopathy related to the I International MED Congress “Man and Health. Multidisciplinary approach in medicine”.
The participation was attended by: staff of the department, doctoral students, representatives of practical healthcare, resident rehabilitologists, resident pediatricians, interns of the GP and pediatricians.
Within the framework of the master class, speakers: Director of the Center for Osteopathic Medicine of Astana “OSSEO-LIFE”, Doctor of Osteopathy, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Assistant of the Institute of Osteopathic Medicine Andrianova V. L., St. Petersburg, neurologist – Manzhugetova Razaul Mukhamedzhanovna.
Doctor of Osteopathy, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Assistant at the Institute of Osteopathic Medicine Andrianova V. L., St. Petersburg, pediatrician, otorhinolaryngologist – Lakbaeva Asem Kairbekova gave a lecture on the topic – “Osteopathy in the rehabilitation and treatment of children”, then the knowledge gained was applied and clearly presented in the practical part, during the admission of patients with various pathologies: CP, Scoliosis, PVDS. At the same time, Razaul Mukhamedzhanovna explained the essence of each manipulation and answered questions from interns and residents.
At the end of the master class, words of gratitude were expressed from the speakers to our students. In turn, the listeners thanked the guests for the useful information provided. In the future, close cooperation with colleagues is planned.
