On October 29, 2022, 1121 group “General Medicine” specialty together with the tutor Elkenova B. Z., a teacher at the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. K. Raisov visited the Abai Literary and Memorial Museum.

The museum fund has 13 thousand exhibits presented in 7 thematic halls: “Abai and his era”, “Aul of the times of Abai”, “Sources of Abai’s creativity”, “Abai’s creativity”, “Abai’s poetic environment”, “Abai studies”, “The Kazakh people highly honor the memory of the great poet.”

During the excursion, students were acquainted with the exhibited archival documents, Abai’s autograph, the handwritten heritage of poets – contemporaries of Abai, photographs, rare books, periodicals from the time of Abai, as well as with a work of fine art, ethnographic exhibits, transferred by Abai in 1885 to the local history museum , students could also see the personal belongings of Abai, the works of the successors of the literary traditions of Abai, their translations into the languages of the peoples of the world. A separate section is made up of the works of M. O. Auezov, the founder of Abai studies.

The trip to the museum was informative and left vivid impressions on the students.
