On November 9th 2022, a curatorial hour was held with students of the 5108th group on the topic: Visiting the “Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after the Nevzorov Family” of the Abai region. Organizer: Assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A. A.
The purpose is to familiarize students with the main directions, the golden fund of classical fine arts. The significance of the multifaceted creative heritage of the Nevzorov Family.
“The Regional Museum of Fine Arts named after the Nevzorov Family” of the Abai region is one of the largest collections of artistic values in Kazakhstan. The museum has more than 3,600 works of art in its collections. The museum’s exposition presents the ways of development of Russian art of the late XVIII — early XX century; the section of fine arts of Kazakhstan (more than a thousand exhibits) is represented by the most vivid and original representatives of the national artistic culture. In 1995, for his great contribution to the development of the culture of Kazakhstan, Yu.V. Nevzorov was awarded a Government award – the Order of Parasat.
The Nevzorov family made an invaluable gift to the city of Semipalatinsk. Their example should be spread among Kazakhstani art lovers. Bringing up the spirituality and purity of the thoughts of our youth on excellent examples.
