On 14th November 2022 a round table dedicated to the fight against smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction was organized at the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology. The event is aimed at “Prevention of tobacco smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction. Formation of a healthy life style”. Organizers: Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, PhD Moldagaliev T. M., assistant of the Department Almagambetova A. A., curator: assistant of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies Musabekova Nazym Erlanovna, curator assistant of the Department of Normal Physiology Ayym Asengazievna Shakabaeva. Participants: 3rd and 5th years students of GM. Curatorial groups 5108, 3613, 3612 groups, 3640 foreign group.

Welcoming words to the 3rd and 5th years students of Semey Medical University were delivered by: Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, PhD, Moldagaliev T. M., Almagambetova A. A. In their speeches, they highlighted the harmful factors for health: smoking, alcoholism and drug addiction. A presentation was presented to the attention of students by a student of 5108 group Akbota Zhanai, where the clinical picture and consequences of nicotine, alcohol addiction, drug addiction were reflected. Currently, a lot of new drugs have appeared. Ways to combat bad habits were highlighted.

Students actively engaged in discussions, asked questions. At the end of the meeting, the students noted that they received knowledge, a huge amount of positive emotions, they liked the since reconversations, the presentation.
