In order to improve the IT competence of the teaching staff of Semey Medical University, NCJSC, training continues on the cycle of “Information and Communication Technologies”, organized at the Department of Simulation Technologies and Medical Education.

On November 19, 2022, the training of another group of employees was completed, including teachers of the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Topographic Anatomy named after Professor N. A. Khlopov, the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Department of Nursing. The course on the “ICT” was conducted by the Acting Associate Professor of the Department of General Educational Disciplines, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences I. S. Mussatayeva. In the course of classes according to the program of this cycle, participants improved their IT-skills in working with office software: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint for processing professional information. Also during the classes, teachers acquired competencies in working with online resources to organize effective feedback with students based on the capabilities of the Padlet.com electronic board, the Polleverywhere online questionnaire, the Kahoot gaming platform and Prezi dynamic presentations. The digital skills of teachers were enriched with the skills to use Adobe Captivate, iSpring Suite, etc. software environments to create interactive training courses and Scorm packages for educational content in their disciplines, as well as the ability to use Google services. According to the participants of the courses, their digital skills formed and improved will be applied in further pedagogical activities to increase the effectiveness of the learning process and in other types of their activities.[/vc_column_text]
