Advanced training in the cycle “Clinical parasitology: diagnosis and treatment”

The relevance of parasitic diseases is due not only to their prevalence, but also to their chronic course, a wide range of clinical manifestations, the development of severe forms with various complications, which is determined by the length of the life cycle of many helminths or their frequent re-infections. In this regard, increasing the level of knowledge in this area for infectious disease specialists is a priority.

From October 17 to October 31, 2022 Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, dermatovenerology and Immunology Smail E. M. was trained as part of advanced training in the cycle “Clinical parasitology: diagnosis and treatment”. The training took place on the basis of the Department of Infectious and Tropical Diseases of “Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov”. At the end of the training, a certificate of advanced training was issued in the amount of 120 hours.
