On November 17, 2022, at the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M. M. Urazalin, an open lesson was held in group 3410 “General Medicine” on the topic: “Causative agents of viral hepatitis – B, D, C, A, E. Neurovirus infections – arboviruses, rhabdoviruses, bunyaviruses, prions”. The open lesson was devoted to the current problem of the increase in the incidence of viral hepatitis, including medical workers.
The students of the group together with the teacher of the department Razakova N. G. discussed the principles of morphology, classification, pathogenesis and laboratory diagnostics of neuroviral infections and viral hepatitis. An open lesson was visited by an assistant of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery Kasenova G. L. Head of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M. M. Urazalin Rakhimzhanova F. S., head teacher of the department Malik M.M. as well as teachers of the department. In general, the lesson was held at a high educational and methodological level. Teaching methods were used at the lesson: case method – situation analysis, verbal, illustrative and collective method of teaching. The aims and objectives of the lesson are fully achieved. Students actively participated during the lesson, where they showed a good level of independent thinking, high cognitive activity, the level of assimilation and use of the material. At the end of the lesson, students were given feedback on the level of their readiness and assessment.
