In accordance with the plan of conducting open classes of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery on 10.11.2022, an open practical lesson was conducted by assistant Rakhimzhanov I. N. with students of the 403 group of the Faculty of Dentistry. Lesson topic: “Periodontitis in children”. The purpose and objectives of the lesson were determined. The lesson was built according to the compiled plan of the practical lesson. The theme corresponded to the thematic plan, syllabus, blueprints in the “KEYS” application. The lesson was conducted in 4 stages according to the CBL method, entrance testing, individual analysis of clinical cases, final testing. All students on the principle of “small groups” actively participated in the analysis of clinical situations on this topic. At the end of the lesson, the students’ assessments were announced according to the calculations of the Excel program. Feedback was received in the form of a questionnaire from students and present teachers. At the end, the teacher reviewed the course of the lesson, gave an assessment and recommendations to each student. The purpose and objectives of the lesson have reached the goal.
