On December 1, 2022, with the organization of the teaching staff of the Department of General Education of Semey Medical University, a round table “Spirit and Language” was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh poet, playwright, people’s writer of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Shakhanov.
The purpose of the round table is to provide information about the life and work of Mukhtar Shakhanov, who occupies a special place in Kazakh poetry, to feel the power of his poems, to show language skills, to understand the beauty expressed by art, to inspire moral and spiritual qualities among young people, to strengthen the feeling of patriotism.
Senior Lecturer of Alikhan Bokeikhan University, PhD Sekey Zh.S., acting Associate Professor, c.p.sc. Zhorokpaeva M.D., acting associate professor, PhD Kadirsizova Sh.B., master, faculty member N.D. Amanbekova, reports were read on the life and work of the poet, friendship, spiritual and moral values, meaningful conversations were held among students.
The event was attended by the dean of school of Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing Kairkhanova I.O., the chief specialist of the library Kadirsizova G.S., Head of the Department of General Education subjects, Doctor of Political Sciences Philosophy G.T. Urankhaeva, teacher B.A. Zhorgataeva, N.M. Abeshova and students of groups 1215, 1217, 2117 of the specialty “General medicine” and students of group 1303 of the specialty “Dentistry”. Only a generation that has absorbed the spiritual values of the nation can shape the future of the country.
