In the period from November 21 to 25, 2022, an interdisciplinary winter school on HIV infection was traditionally held, timed to the day of combating HIV infection and the 70th anniversary of the Semey Medical University. The participants of the winter school were bachelors of 2 – 5 courses in the specialties “General Medicine”, “Public Health” and “Dentistry”. The winter school was conducted by Suleimeneva D. M. – Head of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery, Rakhimzhanova F. S. – Head of the Department of Microbiology named after Professor M.Urazalin, Hismetov Z. A. – Head of the Department of Public Health and Maukaev S. B. – Docent of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Dermatovenerology.
The Winter School on HIV infection is traditionally held every year. This is a communicative platform for the exchange of experience, competencies and energy, it is held for participants who want to achieve new results, are ready to experiment, put forward some ideas.
The purpose of the winter school is to provide additional educational services to students in mastering the basic educational program, as well as the assimilation of new knowledge by students, the ability to apply them in practice, learn how to work in a team, as well as the development of communicative abilities.
At the end of the Winter School, certificates were issued to all participants.[/vc_column_text]
