From 12.19.2022 to 23.12.2022 within the framework of academic mobility for the 2022-2023 academic year, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Phthisiology of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Ryazan State Medical University Elena Alexandrovna Karaseva held a seminar for interns-GPs of the 7th year on the topic “Actual issues of infectious pathology for general practitioners”. The seminar was organized by c.m.s., Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermato-Venereology and Immunology Maukayeva S.B. and Head of the Department of General Medical Practice in Semey, d.m.s., Professor Dyusupova A.A.

Interns listened to lectures on important topics of modern infectious pathology that primary health care professionals may encounter, such as: Leptospirosis, Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome, Malaria, HIV-infection, Infectious mononucleosis, Diphtheria, Novel coronavirus infection. Lectures were based on a practice-oriented approach and included issues of etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinic, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis, treatment and prevention of these nosological forms. The seminar was held with the use of information and communication technologies and telecommunications. The presented material aroused great interest among the audience, who asked numerous questions and received exhaustive answers from the speaker. During the discussion, everyone noted the relevance of the issues discussed and the usefulness of such events.[/vc_column_text]
