According to the plan of Saturday events, the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery organized and held a round table in the Homes of students of the SMU, NCJSC. This event was organized jointly with members of the Healthy Smile School and was held on February 04, 2023 in the House of Students No. 1 on the topic: “A healthy lifestyle. The level of general and dental health. Risk factors”.

Assistants of the department Turusbekova D. Kh., Kokymbekova N. M. and members of the school of “Healthy Smile” for 1st and 2nd year students living in the house of students No. 1 held talks about a healthy lifestyle, bad habits, their harmful effects on the body as a whole and the condition of the oral cavity organs. At the round table, a mini-lecture was given on preventive measures to prevent caries, pathology of hard tissues, prevention of periodontal diseases, oral mucosa. They reported information about the means and objects of individual oral hygiene. A master class on teaching hygiene of brushing teeth on dummies was held. They stressed the importance of compliance with preventive measures, and most importantly, a healthy lifestyle of students.

Students actively participated in the discussion, as well as asked questions. At the end of the event, positive feedback was received from students.
