On March 2, 2023, an Olympiad was held at the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation among 4th year students of the Faculty of General Medicine.

The purpose of the Olympiad is to increase students’ interest in the subject, create cohesion among university students, and improve the clinical thinking skills of future doctors.

The competition included several stages: Stage 1 – “Determination of the blood type”; Stage 2 – “Interpretation of analyzes”; Stage 3 – “Interpretation of X-ray”; Stage 4 – “Tying of surgical knots”; Stage 5 – “Test tasks”.At all stages, students took an active part and were able to demonstrate their knowledge.

By decision of the jury, the groups were awarded as follows:

1st place 4432 (FGM)

2nd place 4211 (FGM)

3rd place 4431 (FGM).

The best students in the Olympiad were: Kapezova Aidana (group 4432) “Interpretation of X-ray”, Omaralinova Ayaulym (group 4432) “Tying of surgical knots”, Eldar Serikkaziev (group 4211) “Determining the blood group”. The best students and groups were awarded diplomas.
