On March 11, the educational event “International Scientific and Practical Conference “Infectious diseases at the present stage: problems and solutions” took place in Ufa. The conference was held in a hybrid mode. The thematic areas of the event were: COVID-19 – an interdisciplinary problem; Infectious diseases of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract; Herpesvirus infections; Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases.

The conference was attended by students and staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology. The report “Echinococcosis of the brain. Clinical case” was performed by the resident of the department Baltabek Aigerim. The report was also prepared by associate professors of the department Nuralinova G.I. and Maukaeva S.B. The report highlighted the problem of echinococcosis in the world and in Kazakhstan and presented a clinical case of echinococcosis of the brain.
