Suicide among young people

On the eleventh of March, the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. A. Nazarova of the “Semey Medical University” held a round table on the topic “Suicide among young people” in the House of Students N 4.

The round table was held in the form of a conversation between the head of the department Rakhyzhanova S.O., teachers Kanatbekova A.K. and Shakabaeva A.A. and psychologist Toyshybekova A.T. Active participants were 2nd year students of the pediatric faculty.

Currently, according to the World Health Organization, suicide ranks third in the world. And three years ago, according to WHO, Kazakhstan was in fifth place in the number of suicides.

Unfortunately, suicidal actions are most often observed among young people. There are many reasons for suicide.

In this regard, a round table and training were held among students to prevent suicidal actions.[/vc_column_text]
