On March 16, 2023, a regular meeting of the Clinician’s School for 6th and 7th year GP interns was held, which was devoted to the issues of diagnosis, dispensary observation and prevention of acute rheumatic fever. The meeting was held online via the ZOOM platform. The audience was familiarized with modern statistics on acute rheumatic fever in Kazakhstan, world statistics were given, problematic issues of secondary prevention of the disease were discussed, and the importance of strict adherence to dispensary observation of patients was emphasized. Speakers made a special emphasis on the fact that acute rheumatic fever occurs as a post-infectious complication of streptococcal tonsillitis (tonsillitis) or pharyngitis, so primary health care physicians should pay special attention to these diseases. All topics are presented in a very accessible and understandable way. The conference was interesting, with a demonstration of demonstrative and colorful slides and aroused a clear interest of the audience.
