On March 16, the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University hosted the XVIII International (XXVII All-Russian) Pirogov Scientific Medical Conference online.  Students and young scientists under 35 presented their reports online in 15 different areas.  More than 1100 projects participated in the selection, of which 889 people from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan passed to the 2nd round.  Of these, 300 participants were selected to present oral and poster presentations. 103 experts from all over the world evaluated their works.

This year the jury consisted of 148 people.  Of these, 40 percent were external experts.  For each section the experts had to select three winners among the students.

A 5th year student of the Faculty of Dentistry of the NJSC “MUS” Sadykova Anar took the 2nd place in an online format, who made a presentation on the topic “The use of methods for increasing bone tissue and gingival graft in fixed prosthetics with the help of dental implants”. Her supervisor was Ph.D, Associate Professor Khaidarova N.B..

On the topic of the report, the experts asked a lot of questions. The student gave exhaustive answers to all the questions which was undoubtedly appreciated by the jury.
