Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological diseases in the world. According to the WHO, up to 1% of the world’s population suffers from epilepsy, which is 50 million people.

On March 26, Purple Day is celebrated all over the world. This is an annual international event that aims to raise awareness about epilepsy.

On March 27, the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies hosted an event dedicated to the day of patients with epilepsy – “Purple Day”. The event was organized by 301 groups of the “Pharmacy” specialty under the guidance of the head of the department, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Mukanova D.A.
