On March 31 of this year, as part of a working visit to Semey, a delegation from India, including representatives of the Max Healthcare Institute hospital network, DPU University, as well as the leading medical coaching institute in India, MIST, visited the University Hospital of the “MUS”, NCJSC and the Center for Nuclear Medicine and Oncology, which are major clinical the bases of our university.
During the visit, foreign guests got acquainted with the work of the oncological service of the region – the director of the Center Tatyana Belikhina presented the key indicators of morbidity in the region, presented modern methods of diagnosis and treatment implemented in our Center. Colleagues from India also got acquainted with the work of the departments. It was especially important for foreign colleagues to get acquainted with the work of the Center for Nuclear Medicine, including the Department of radionucleid diagnostics and the only department of radioiotherapy in Kazakhstan today.
Foreign guests also visited the University Hospital, where Acting Director Raushan Kikimbayeva introduced the guests to the clinical base of the “MUS”, NCJSC, a multidisciplinary medical, educational and pedagogical institution where students consolidate their knowledge in practice, study with some of the best doctors of Semey. The guests were presented the main priority areas of international cooperation, benchmarking with leading clinics of Kazakhstan and abroad, providing high-tech medical care. During the visit of the delegation, a tour of the adult and children’s hospital was conducted, the main work of these departments was shown, an overview of the departments and study rooms of the University Hospital was presented, the material and technical base was presented, as well as the goals and objectives for the further development of the hospital in the coming years.[/vc_column_text]
